We welcome you to visit the web home of the Brucetown United Methodist Church in Brucetown, Virginia, USA.

The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the Gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.

We are both inspired and energized by Our Calling, we aim:
to increase awareness of God's presence and to celebrate God's love
to help people to grow and learn as Christians through mutual support and care
to be a good neighbor to people in need and to challenge injustice
to make more followers of Jesus Christ

We invite you to join in the fellowship at any of our congregational activities. We especially extend to you an invitation to join us for Sunday morning worship at 11:00 am. “We envision Brucetown United Methodist Church as a place where all are welcomed, spiritually formed, led to a personal relationship with Christ and therefore become a community that extends care and love to all the world.”

Thanks again for visiting – and come back as often as you can.

Sincerely,

Pastor Robert

harvestspacerGLEANING - Tuesday August 26 at 7am - We will be at the Cline farm in Clearbrook to glean another field of corn.

I am really excited about all the new volunteers we have met. So many families are joining us and it is great. Gleaning is a good way for families to spend time together, doing a service that costs them very little.

I just spoke to the farmers and we need rain ... soon. There are 5 more corn fields we could glean if it rains. If not they will be ruined.
The green beans are at the point they will either produce more or dry up... they need rain. Any prayers would be much appreciated.
